The Big Game!!!!!

Today is the big game between BYU and Utah... :) Hopefully my BYU boys will show the Utes up and give them a nice slice of humble pie! Who's with me??!?!!? :) Yessss sirrrr! Let's do this! I'm excited!

Counting Down...

Wowser! :) 2 years surely has been flying by! Brandon comes home on December 30th! I'm so exicted I can hardly stand it! Although he won't be home for Christmas it sure will be the best Christmas I will have yet because he will be coming home! So here I am counting down...

Thankful:)

Well just a couple days ago, Thanksgiving came around again! Even though I feel 10 pounds heavier I sure am quite thankful for my life, my friends, the gospel, my family, and sports! I could go on and on but I won't make this page fill the entire page! :) I hope you all had a good thanksgiving! Always remember to count your blessings.

Well its been about a year since Ive been on my blog!! :) Crazy or What?!?! So much has happened! Its now summer of 2010 and my seventh grade year was da bomb.com!! :) Yeah boi! Gotta love summer! And its almost the 4th of July! Yayyy!!! Well I will update you all on what has happened over the year recently of what I remember!

Soccer: A couple weeks ago we went up Utah Summer Games! It was a blast once again but this time we took home the gold medal!!!! Yayyy!! Im so proud of my team! We all did amazzzing! Ahhh I love those girls! We are now a state team and are really taking it to everybody!:) Thats how awesome we are! Haha yeah buddy! So soccer is still my love of my life and its going great!

Basketball: I made the Rocky Mountain Jr High School team as a red shirt. It was a lot of fun and we are the district champions! Way to ball it up ladies!:) haha! Ive been in a couple tournaments this year with them and its been awesome!

School: I know its summer now but I just had to say I had the funnest year being a sevie! It was definitely a blast! I made so many new friends and strengthened a lot of others!:) I love all my friends! They make me such a better person! I couldnt live without them! Well I got elected 8th grade officer president for this coming up school year! Im so excited! Its a big job and Im gonna do my best! Ahh i cant wait! :)

Church: I love my new ward even though I miss my old one!:) Ive made a lot of new friends with the young women! They are definitely amazing and have strengthened my testimony lots...and still are! I love those girls a lot! We are also participating in the Arise and Shine Forth Youth Spectacular! Its like 30 stakes combined to form this big production of the youth! Its awesome!!! Totally cool...even though we sit in the sun for hours working on it! haha:) but oh well it will be worth it!

Umm...right now thats all I can think of! Its been quite a great year! Brandon comes home from his mission in a little less than 6 months and I cant wait to see him. He is the greatest inspiration! I didnt realize how much I loved him til he went away for 2 years so it will be good to have him back! But knowing him he will probably go down and play some football at his college NIMMI when he gets back, the turd! Haha well Im justa loving life still, and I love all the people in it!:)

FoOd MoNgErS!!!!!!!!!!

So last 4th of July they had a pie eating contest!! And of course Trev and Bran were in it!!! They all got apple pies and they were chuck full with apples!! So they're eating along and they're pretty close to being done....Brandon was a little farther than Trev but Tyler Grange(Ryan's brother) was so close to being done and then all of a sudden Bran says "Tyler don't throw it up!" or something like that and then Tyler did!!! HA HA HA it was funny!! So Bran was the winner!! Tyler was bummed....but my bro won something and gave Tyler one of them!! Oh my! Trevor was mad cuz he was right behind Bran!! Anyway since they didn't do the booths and stuff this year Trevor was also bummed cuz he said it was his year!! hehe!! i just thought I'd share you a 4th of July memory since it just passed!!! Hope everybody had a good one!!!!!!!!!! :)

PaRtY wEeK!!!!! =]

George Strait, movie marathons, hanging out, fixing up my new room, and partying with Lace!!! This week is going to be a blast!!! Dad and Trev are at scout camp and us girls are at party camp!! Ha ha jk!! Yeah so this week its just me and my mommy!! And some Lacey!! hehe!! We are going to the George Strait concert and just have an awesome time!!!! I luv chilling with my mom believe it or not.....she is sooo fun!! Then we are going to paint my new room and get all moved in! Yee-haw! Im so excited!! LUV YOU MOM!! This week is going to be the bomb!! LOLZ!

HOLY COW!!!!!!! This SuMmEr has flown by faster than Albert Einstein can think of the answer to a math problem!!!!! Now thats F-A-S-T!!!! Ha ha!! Yes, this summer has seemed very short to me and we'll soon be back in school next month!! RMJH here we come!! I haven't done a whole lot with all my friends this summer which is kinda sad!! Its summer for heaven sakes!! No school!! We should be partying every day!! Ha Ha yeah!! So we all need to do something!!! Anyway when you think of summer, you think of belly tops, flip flops, lemonade in the shade, blue skies, hot guys, late nights, water fights, ice creams, sweet dreams, bathing suits, shooting hoops, party time, schools out, sleeping in, and sneaking out!!! Not quite what my summer has been. Ive had a very different summer with the wedding, Lace moving out, my first girls camp, a very NASTY sunburn, and stinking rain, but its still been WAY fun! The Big Day!!!!!

Lacey Summers.........a little different! Lace just got married June 6, 2009 in the Salt Lake Temple! I'm so happy for my big sis but so sad to see her move out and go on with her life! So when we were at the temple heading over to the steps to take pictures I gave her a big hug and started bawling....I'm such a crybaby thanks to my mom:) but that's ok! I'm going to miss seeing her often and doing girly stuff together, but that doesn't mean we wont do it at all! I luv her so much and want to thank her for putting up with me as her little sista! My BeSt BuD!!!!

I guess it's time to write about my "horsie"!! First of all, you better be on his good side or you won't consider him as a horse, it'll be more like a......beast!! Yes, he can get very ornery and be a lil' turd but yet who knows why i still love him?!? His name is Vegas(and don't ask me why the people we got him from named him that) and he absolutely LOVES the water and plus he is a fantastic mountain horse! Lately he has been really sore and we don't know what's up with him but i hope he gets feeling better! I love him to bits and would ride him anytime!!!

Well, the school year is narrowing to an end and that means us big 6th graders get to go to Junior High!! Hallelujah!! It sure is gong to be different at Rocky Mt. but it sure is going to be a blast........hopefully!!! I'm most excited to be a 7th grade officer,wear those totally awesome officer jackets, and follow in the footsteps of my big brother's and sis!(they were officers) I Hope everybody is excited for Junior High next year, and hope it's a good one!!! :D

Elder Brandon Scott Bennett

Brandon's been away for about 3 months now, and i miss him to death. He writes letters often and sends pictures with the letters. This is just a slide show of the pictures. Lacey-Lou

Well Lacey is sure loving her boy! How I know that- don't see her much any more and common sense with them getting married and all that, but mostly not seeing her much! If I'm lucky I get to see her on Saturday mornings because she has to go to work early or Tuesday afternoon, if she's not shopping for the wedding. She is usually at Mike's house after work everyday til way late at night, and sometimes it feels like I have only a family of four now, with Brandon being gone on his mission and Lacey being at Mikes and all. Lacey is getting her bridal and engagement pictures soon, and I think I'm more excited to see them than her. I'm missing Lace ton's everyday and I'm wishing I could spend more time with her like I used to. I tell ya, being in love just messes everything up! I love you Lace and I'll never forget all the absolutely, amazing times we had together, from watching our favorite show together to just painting my nails with "paint-nolish" (that's what I called it when I was younger.) You're awesome Lacey! Luv ya!

Science Fair Project

Science Fair Project!?!? Tiring right Taysom???? But a BLAST!!! It's too bad we didn't get to blow anything up though(we kind of wanted to)?? Hey we didn't win anything, but again it was fun to be with each other. After doing that I still can't believe that Trevor won't let us do his hair!!! That hurt huh! Anyway this is just a short little slide show of us working on it! Tay I had a great time!! Thanks for being my partner!! Your the best!!

Elder Brandon Scott Bennett

Well he is officially off!!! Brandon left on his mission to Montevideo Uraguay. He flew off heading for the Boines Aries Argentina MTC where he will be for approximately two months before heading to Uraguay. My family and me of course had a hard time letting Bran go. I love my bro so much!! I can't wait for him to get to Uraguay and touch those peoples lives like he has touched mine. I look up to Brandon so much and I am so proud of the young man he has become. He's going to be an awesome Missionary!! GO GET 'EM BRAN!!! I LOVE YOU!!

The Holidy!!

WOW!! This was quite the busy Holiday! It all started on Sunday with Brandon's farewell. Brandon did a fabulous job as expected and I enjoyed the afternoon spending time with family and friends. The next few days were busy with last minute shopping and family parties. On Monday night we got Mike's family and mine together before Bran left on his mission for two years. We went to Fats Cats and enjoyed ourselves by eating lots of Pizza and bowling. Then came Christmas Day which was sweet. It was a joyful holiday as it should be, but also one full of many tears with Brandon leaving the next day and Lacey's last Christmas at home. All together though, it was a fabulous Holiday. I know i am truly grateful for my family and for all the do for me! Hope you all had a great Christmas as well!

Bran's Mission

Oh gees!! Brandon is leaving Dec. 26 for his mission and i dont wan't to see him go for 2 WHOLE YEARS!!!! I am soo excited for him and i know he is going to do GREAT because of his experiences already down at college!! My whole entire family will miss him dearly and especially my parents. We all look up to him and his example to us. He was called to Uraguay in South America. That is his flag on the left. He is very excited to go bring the gospel to the world!! I LOVE YOU SOOOOOO MUCH BRANDON!!!

Sistas

This post is to my sister, Lacey. She is one of a kind, but she has her moments even though I still luv her. She knows how to party and make fun when necessary. Lacey can be very onery sometimes but again i still love her!! She does tons and tons of favors for me. I don't think i could thank her enough even though sometimes i might not show it. From cutting my hair to filling in for mom when she is not here, she is the BEST!! We were too close to be just friends so God made us sisters!! Luv you lace!!

My Most AWESOME MOM

I just thought I'd dedicate this post to my best friend... My Mom!! I don't think i ever thank her enough or give her the credit she deserves. Although she has many crazy quirks like her obsession with the movie Tommy boy, her impossible quest to have George Strait sealed to her someday, and her love for crunching numbers... I still love her!!My mom is the greatest and I just wanted to thank her for all the countless hours she spent sewing my queen clothes even though I'm sure she'd rather been doing something else. She is such a big role model of mine and i look up to her in so many ways. She is such a strong person. I admire her for her strength and ambition for life, because heaven knows we'd all like to give up sometime, but she never does!! I am so grateful for such a good mother who has such a great love for the savior and his gospel. She has taught me well. I heard a new song by Taylor Swift that reminds me of my mom, "I know you were on my side even when I was wrong and I love you for givin me your eyes, staying back and watching me shine and i didn't know if you knew, so i'm takin the time to say that I had the best day with you today!" I've had some of the best days with my mom and I love her! If I can be half the woman she is someday, I'll be doing just fine!! I love you mom, thanks for being my best friend and thanks for always believing in me!!
